We're Back

We are back on the blogging scene and expecting baby #2! We wanted to create a new family blog to keep Jenny and Sarah up to date on all the happenings at our house. I really miss them not being here to rub my growing belly and kiss their handsome little nephew. So what better way to keep them in on the action at our house then blogging:) And I'm sure everyone else in the family will enjoy the pictures and journal entries too. This is just a rough outline of our blog. We'll be adding more pictures and graphics in the next week or so but I wanted to get it up and running as soon as possible.

We are now 19 weeks pregnant and will find out the sex of our newest baby on February 6th. Grandpa can't wait, he is so sure it's a girl! Austin has named the baby "Bob" since he is in love with Bob the Builder.

I can't believe how big Austin has gotten! He is almost 2 years old already, boy how time flies. In anticipation of the big birthday Daddy has already taught him to say "2" when you ask him how old he is:) His language skills are really starting to develop and he is able to consistently identify 10 letters from the alphabet and give you corresponding words that start with each letter, he's a genius!

We have been doing a lot of art activities involving glue and glue sticks, needless to say it has been a sticky house lately but Austin loves it. However, we cannot wait for this frigid weather to let up so we can get outside and play. I can't remember the last time it was warm enough to go out for even 15 minutes. Oh well, spring and summer will be here before we know it and so will our new baby:)
