Mackinaw Vacation

The boys checking out the view from our hotel room when we first arrived

Taking a tour of the retired coast guard ice cutter ship...thumbs up from Austin:)

Austin thought this ship was so cool!

Big fish tank at Mackinaw Crossings

Both boys had tons of fun at the park at Mackinaw Crossings

The water was so shallow that we were able to walk out really far in the lake...and yes that's me in my cover-up, I do have a suit on underneath:)

My 3 boys

Austin on his way to build some castles

Connor sat in this hole Daddy dug for him most of the day!

Saturday was so rainy but we decided to head to the Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park to do some hiking and check out the saw mill demonstrations. It was one of the best days of our trip.

Hiking with the little man.

Playing at the park at Mill Creek

Connor taking a rest at the visitors center at Mill Creek (that's his "say cheese" face)

Connor's new toy pet hamster, who he named Sassy Butt!

Yum!

How can you not love those two?:)

Playing putt putt on the rainy Saturday. The boys were so excited about it they practically ran through the course and were so surprised when we were finished they started crying!

The ferry ride to Mackinaw Island

Tasting some fudge

Talking to some soldiers at the children's quarters at the Fort

Austin was so proud of himself that he could climb all the way up and down this pile of rocks by himself!

Austin's new rifle he got at a stop on our carriage ride around the island.

Someone got tuckered out!

Austin and a soldier at the Fort...Austin was so excited to see "real" soldiers!
